It's not even Halloween yet...

And I'm thinking about Christmas specials. I blame TJ though. He had mentioned them this past week. I then promtly dragged him through the seasonal isles in Fred Meyer. I'm such a sucker for decorations and costume stuff. Halloween is great that way. You get to dress up and nobody can scoff and say that you are too old to be doing so. Unless you go trick-or-treating, but that's debatable.

As far as updates go.... I'm still alive. The rest of the family is too. Everyone got back from Rio ok. The party sounded fun and I'm supposed to see some pictures soon. Dad did get a nasty ass sunburn from falling asleep on the beach and his cell phone was stollen. But they left his sim card. Go figure. Xandre started another school year. Another 9 classes this year. Sheesh! Apparently there is some Michelle
girl. I have yet to meet her so I can't say anything about liking her or not. As far as TJ and I we're doing pretty alright if I do say so myself. We hit a fairly large rough patch a while back but got past it with flying colors. And of course it brought us together even more.

PAX was a blast. It was so great to be able to meet all these people i've been talking to for months and months and see people like Rachel, Mike and Ben again. Bumbershoot was somewhat mediocre this year. They forcasted rain which didn't come until the next week and the walk-up price had been upped $5. So it was actually possible to walk from one end of the centre to the other without a problem or 30 minutes of baby-stepping. That is, except for Monday when all of the Pixies fans
showed up. This caused TJ and I to not get wristbands for Built to Spill. Every other day it was possible to get a writband until late afternoon. But Monday was like a normal Bumbershoot day where it's completely packed and you can't move. We had dinner with Mom and Max that weekend as well. It was pretty nice to dress up a little and get out to dinner. The most bizzare part of it was that they had brought their old living room TV over. We were supposed to pick it up along with Xandre but didn't do it. So now it's just sitting in the garage waiting to be moved up here for testing or to be brought to Good Will. The first weekend of October we'll be in Leavenworth, WA. It's a cute little Bavarian town in the mountains. I hope it's a fun weekend and that it doesn't snow yet.

Other than all of that I'm keeping busy with a new book, baking cookies and figuring out why the fishtank is getting scum. "Someone stop her!! She's outa control!" This weekend TJ and I may fire up the fireplace....ok, there has to be a better way to say that. Anywho, we may also go look at shiney things. :D
